October brings good things, including an array of beverages that capture the feeling of autumn. This month, we’re highlighting a few of our favorite brews for you to explore: festive beers, new sake, and non-alcoholic beers. We are beer lovers, and get excited when Oktoberfest lagers make their annual appearance. Their amber hues and malty profiles are perfect on a sunny day. Also in the Cool Ship – a.k.a our beer fridge – discover our expanded line of sake. Most of our selection is from Japan, but a few are made locally. Though sake is sometimes called a rice ‘wine’, it is actually more similar to beer. Both sake and beer are brewed, rather than fermented like wine. And, though sake is often paired with Japanese cuisine, sake and beer are designed to be enjoyed on their own – without food. We love the clean, refined flavor of sake, and think it’s a fantastic choice for autumn enjoyment. Finally, we are delighted to include our growing selection of non-alcoholic beers in our October picks. As mocktails rise in popularity, non-alcoholic breweries continue to develop their techniques, and their beer just keeps getting better. We think our customers like them, too, because they are really popular!
