Hartland Cards was founded by designer Emily Johnson in 2012. Emily started the business while living in Brooklyn, creating hand-illustrated greeting cards as a creative outlet from her day job. Her warm, whimsical cards found an audience, and became a full-time venture when big retailers began ordering. Emily is known for her vivid, artful prints, and commitment to sustainability. Hartland prints in New York with eco-friendly vegetable based inks and neon pigments, on the highest quality, 100% recycled, felted paper. Over time Hartland expanded beyond Brooklyn as Emily moved the studio and eventually opened a physical shop upstate, blending stationery and design. Still growing, Hartland now distributes other stationary lines as well, including the beautiful Dealty card collection, which you can also find here at Driver’s.
