J.D. Collins founded Clean & Simple Foods in Alamo, CA with his kids in mind. The inspiration behind the company came from Collins’s own family: he created the brand’s lines of healthy snacks because he and his wife couldn’t find foods they felt good about giving their young sons. Built around the philosophy that ingredients matter and directly affect how people feel, the company makes snack bites, kid cookies, and snack bars that are all organic, gluten-free, vegan, and free of added sugar. Clean & Simple’s tagline, “Unjunking Food, One Snack at a Time,” reflects its mission to simplify what families put in their bodies.
