Turney Street Parklet

March 2022 – Our parklet on Turney Street is now complete and open to the community! This beautiful new space is a dream project for us – the original drawings have been hanging in our cafe for 5 years! Finally, the dream is a reality.

Come on down and check out the parklet. Meet a friend, catch up over a coffee, and stay for lunch. Our deli is fully open, now with an extended outdoor dining area. We can’t wait to see you!

The parklet was made possible by the support of the community, and the generosity of our talented neighbors: Barbara Brown Architects designed the space; local luminaries Heath Ceramics donated the tile; and landscape designer Kellee Adams of Dig-it Landscapes created the succulent garden in the planter boxes.

A redwood slab table top caps off the parklet. The unique, reclaimed piece was built by Peroba Reclaimed, just over the bay in Richmond, CA.
