The opportunity to build a catering program at the Market brought Carolyn King to Driver’s in 2018. A masterful chef, Carolyn has been an integral part of the team from the start, handling multiple roles including menu development and catering manager. “I love the creative outlet that catering provides, getting to work with organic produce and so many specialty products,” she said.
Deli Manager – Marissa Cruz
Marissa Cruz has been with us since 2016, and is an important part of the Driver’s family. She was working as a business banker at Wells Fargo when she got to know Paul Geffner, a co-owner at Driver’s. Paul was a client of Marissa’s, and the two became friends. “He would always ask me when I would quit the bank and come work for him,” she said. Outside of work, Marissa is an award winning outrigger paddler, competing in Hawaii, California, and beyond.

Good Food Award Winners
Much of what we carry at Driver’s is made by small teams of artisans who are passionate about their craft. We love to see them win Good Food Awards, because they really deserve the recognition. We proudly stock award winners here at Driver’s, many of them local – look for the blue Good Food seal on our shelves! Read on to see this year’s winners.

New in Wellness
Our bodies use minerals for many functions, including bone, heart, and brain health. Minerals are also key to hydration as well as enzyme and hormone production. While theoretically we get most of the minerals we need by eating a wide variety of foods, in some cases a healthcare provider may suggest a mineral supplement. Learn how you can achieve your wellness goals with a look at new products in our supplement department.
