Your Personal America, the poetry of Paul Geffner

Poetry surrounds us, making us realize the slimness of the membrane between internal and external worlds. In his book, Your Personal America, Sausalito poet Paul Geffner explores the America familiar to so many of us, as well as territory new and uncharted. Paul joined us Around the Table in August 2018 to read some of his favorite poems — his own and others. Here is an excerpt from his book, the title poem ‘Your Personal America’.
